Confederation College held a ground-breaking ceremony at the site of the proposed new Aviation Centre of Excellence. The $10-million dollar facility will increase the number of students in the aviation program from 275 to 350. The centre will also allow the college to accept 30 to 35 students into an avionics program. Research suggests there is a shortage of graduates in avionics.
