Bearskin Airlines launched a new shuttle service between Ottawa and Toronto on Sept. 10. With one way fares starting at $99, the service offers seven roundtrip flights each business day with weekend service between Ottawa's MacDonald Cartier International Airport and Toronto's Buttonville Municipal Airport.
Bearskin is adding two new Pilatus PC-12 turboprop aircraft for the route. The Buttonville airport is situated between Highway 404 and 16th Avenue just north of Highway 407 in Markham. Bearskin expects the service to be embraced by those in the high-tech industry with offices in Ottawa and Markham. Bearskin serves 38 communities across Ontario between the Manitoba and Quebec border.
