The Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre is looking to reward the next creative business idea from the region.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 NWO Pitch IT competition, taking place this month in northwestern Ontario.
The fourth annual event is open to entrepreneurs located within the Kenora and Rainy River Districts who have a business idea, new business startup, or proposed business expansion.
Those accepted into the competition will present their ideas to a panel of judges and investors, and winners will be chosen based on the strength of their pitch.
The first-place winner will receive $5,000, the second place winner will receive $3,000, and the People’s Choice winner will receive $2,000.
Proposals for this year’s competition will be accepted from now until March 27. The final pitch event will be held virtually on April 27.
