The West Nipissing Sudbury East Federation of Agriculture is holding an agricultural conference March 22 at the community and recreation centre on O’Hara Street in Sturgeon Falls.
From Field to Market is a day-long Saturday event that will include presentations on such topics as expansion and adding value to a farm-based business, decision-making in horticulture, precision agriculture in cropping, small flock management, soil sampling and understanding soil tests.
The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $30 per person. Lunch is included.
