Farmers and agri-food producers from across northeastern Ontario are prepping for the Earlton Farm Show, slated to take place April 11-12 in Earlton.
The annual event, held at the Rosaire and Wilfred Paiement Center, regularly draws upwards of 2,300 people to take in two days of ag-related activities.
This year, the event will kick off on Friday, April 11 with a buffet lunch. Over the course of two days, participants can take in a student art show, interactive displays, and put in their bids on two live auctions daily.
On Saturday, earlybirds can get a hot breakfast at the Tony Bailey Memorial Breakfast, which is hosted in memory of the late Tony Bailey, a Belle Vallée cow-calf producer who was an active community supporter, serving as a town councillor, and a board member of both the Temiskaming Grain Growers and Temiskaming Cattlemen's Association.
Entrance to the Earlton Farm Show is free of charge, although visitors are asked to bring a donation for the local food banks.
