MineConnect, Ontario’s member-led mining supply and services association, promotes and connects their members with opportunities around the world, including here in Ontario and across the rest of Canada.
Connecting Members to Canadian Opportunities
Whether it is providing a physical presence at tradeshows or promoting their members through social media campaigns, MineConnect works hard to create valuable connections for their members within the domestic market.
“We participate in the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PCAC), the Canadian Institute of Mining (CIM), and the Canadian Mining Expo,” explains Marla Tremblay, Executive Director of MineConnect. “We also regularly communicate and partner with industry associations in other provinces and advertise in publications that target Canadian operations such as CIM Magazine and Canadian Mining Journal.”
Digital Promotion Brings National Opportunities
MineConnect also uses their wide reach to make an impact on digital platforms. “Stories and relevant social media posts are shared with our contact list and followers which includes several Canadian mine operators and contractors. We do direct targeted social media campaigns, including Google and LinkedIn ad buys, that target key contacts within the 38 operating mines throughout Ontario,” says Marla.
MineConnect’s Find-a-Supplier Portal is an Invaluable Tool
The Find-a-Supplier portal on MineConnect’s website makes it easy for those in the industry to find exactly the type of suppliers that they are looking for. Member profiles are searchable by the specific products and/or services that they offer.
“Our Find a Supplier portal is a significant tool that we promote on all of our targeted promotional campaigns including at trade shows,” says Marla. “It is an effective way to connect industry leaders directly to our member profiles.”
