The 8th Annual Mackinac to Manitoulin Race started in Mackinac Island on Thursday, July 21. The first leg of the MacMan Challenge takes racers to Gore Bay.
There is an overnight layover in Gore Bay, with dinner and awards for the first leg. The final short leg of the race to Little Current will take place on July 23.
Both communities provide a great deal of warm hospitality, parties and a fun racing venue. Enjoy the post-race party on Saturday, July 23, hosted by Little Current Yacht Club.
From here, you can leisurely cruise back through the picturesque North Channel of Canada and Manitoulin Island.
