The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce recognized 10 entrepreneurs and businesses with a 2002 Business Excellence Award at a gala reception, dinner and awards presentation on May 8. Winners of the fifth annual Business Excellence Awards are: All About Massage, a clinic offering a wide range of therapeutic and esthetic procedures, captured the Business Start-up Award; Parker House Inn, a boutique-style inn combined with a coffee house and restaurant, received the Hospitality Award; Chelmsford Animal Hospital received the New Venture Award; South Side Story, an entertaining monthly newspaper, received the Small Office Home Office Award; Diet Center of Sudbury, which provides consultations, products and programs for healthy weight control, captured the Service Excellence Award; Ontrak Control Systems, a manufacturer of serial data acquisition interfaces which allow external devices to be read and controlled by a computer, received the Innovation Award; Jungle Gym Gymnastics received the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award; Cast Resource Equipment, a remanufacturer of underground and surface mobile equipment, captured the Entrepreneur of the Year Award (under 50 employees); William Day Group of Companies received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award (over 50 employees); and Cambrian College received the Chair's Award.
