Two new clients have signed with Sudbury's Omega Direct Response, creating as many as 50 jobs in Sudbury and creating another 35 positions through the expansion of another campaign. Some workers whose hours were reduced during a January slowdown have been called back for full-time hours. Omega officials believe the signing of the two contracts is a sign business is picking up. A new campaign began in early March and another was expected to be launched later on in the month. Each will employ 25 people. A third campaign was to expand staffing hours from 125 to 300 hours a day, translating to about 35 jobs. The company has two sites in Sudbury, and is one of the city's largest downtown call centres.
