As part of the continuing efforts to improve communication, the Hopital regional de Sudbury Regional Hospital has launched a new and improved Web site (www.hrsrh.on.ca).
“The new Web site is designed to provide patients, visitors and the public with key information about the hospital’s programs, services and people, and where to find other local services that are related to the hospital,” Viviane Lapointe, vice-president of communication and government relations says.
“It is important for the hospital to serve the steadily growing demand for information to be made available on the Internet.”
She says the newer section of the Web site provides information about what patients can expect during a hospital stay. Future plans will include online patient information brochures with regard to surgical and diagnostic procedures.
“We hope user will find the information we provide useful and informative,” Lapointe says.
