Cambrian College in Sudbury is adding two new graduate certificate programs to its roster in September: mobile application development and project management.
“Both programs respond to labour market needs and will be a great fit for those who have a previous college diploma or university degree and wish to add to their academic credentials and broaden their skill set,” said Jean Brown, vice-president of academic, in a release.
The mobile application development program corresponds to the growth in the smartphone market, and includes a mandatory placement that offers hands-on professional experience and industry connections.
The project management program prepares graduates for leadership opportunities in sectors such as health, education, social and community services, retail, engineering, architecture and design, science, and information technology. The program includes two semesters of in-class learning and includes a capstone project.
The introduction of these two new courses brings Cambrian’s program offerings to 80.
