One of the world's largest independently owned telemarketing and tele-services organizations is setting up shop in Sudbury.
DialAmerica announced in mid-October it would be opening a call centre in Sudbury, the company's first centre to be established in Canada. Officials with DialAmerica say at full capacity the centre will fill about 250 positions, with recruiting and hiring taking place in November. The company's Canadian branch will go by the name AllTell. The centre will handle outbound calls and is slated to open Dec. 3. While no announcements have been made about the client list the local centre will handle, DialAmerica is a magazine subscription marketer, servicing 60 to 70 per cent of that market segment.
The call centre will be located in the vacant office space underneath Bianco's on The Kingsway.
DialAmerica has 80 call centres in major markets in 26 states.
