We are pleased to announce that Nancy Riopel has joined Northern Ontario Angels (NOA) as a part-time consultant to cover the Timmins/Kapuskasing & Hearst area.
Nancy is a dynamic and energetic, professional consultant with a Masters of Science degree in Social Work and Community Services and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Nancy is currently the owner of Humanagement (Timmins) where she provides a variety of consultation, training, and team building services to help private businesses, public and not-for-profit organizations develop the skills and practices that lead to success.
What differentiates Nancy’s services from traditional consulting services is her hands-on integrative implementation support. She not only helps organizations make plans, she works with individuals in the organization to develop knowledge and skill, and bring about lasting emotional, attitudinal and behaviour change.
Nancy is fluent in both English and French and has strong roots in Northern Ontario. She is culturally diverse and skilled at helping people understand and accept cultural differences. Nancy will be working closely on behalf of NOA with LinkNorth, the EDCs, Chambers, and Business Centres.

To date, we have closed 416 deals, of which 31 are indigenous led companies. Resulting in over $183.4 million in private angel investments. Over 50 per cent of our companies are in the technology sector, and 15 per cent are in the mining sector. NOA entrepreneurs have created over 5,000 full-time/part-time jobs.
NOA consultants are on the ground covering Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, North Bay, Parry Sound, Thunder Bay, Timmins/Kapuskasing, Kenora, and the Far North.
