Ontario Northland is testing out a new bus stop to help North Bay bus passengers access additional transportation options in Toronto.

The new stop – located at the Highway 407 terminal in Vaughan – will allow riders to access connections offered by GO Transit bus service, the TTC subway, and York Regional Transit.

“Providing seamless transportation connections for our passengers is important,” said Tracy MacPhee, Ontario Northland’s director of passenger operations, in a news release.

“The Highway 407 terminal is accessible and open seven days a week, making it convenient to connect to other transportation providers, in addition to being an ideal location for pickup and dropoffs.

“We have received positive feedback on the trial. Passengers have been utilizing the connection with GO’s route to Pearson International Airport, and the convenient link to the subway.”

Over the next few months, Ontario Northland will be monitoring ridership to determine if additional trips could benefit from this connection.
