Natt Safety Services and GeoArc are partnering to provide enhanced rescue and access services to meet growing demand in high-risk environments, including industrial sites, construction projects and remote locations.

Based in Sudbury, Natt specializes in confined space rescue, safety training, and industrial safety solutions.

Burlington-based GeoArc does cleaning, inspections, retrofits, maintenance, and nondestructive testing, all performed with a focus on safety and environmental sustainability. The company has also recently launched a new training centre in Burlington, which offers rope access courses to train workers in working safely at heights.

“This partnership strengthens our ability to provide comprehensive rescue solutions across so many industries, from hydro and wind to mining, oil and gas, and infrastructure,” said Kevin Pattison, president and CEO of NATT Safety Services, in an April 21 news release.

“By working with GeoArc, we are enhancing our rope rescue capabilities to ensure even greater safety and efficiency for our clients in hazardous work environments. Plus there is a cost savings to customers, which is always beneficial.”

Max Dugal, president of GeoArc, called the partnership a “natural fit.”

"Our team at GeoArc brings specialized rope access expertise, while NATT Safety Services brings decades of leadership in rescue training,” he said in the release.

“Together, we’re setting a new standard for safety and responsiveness in the most challenging environments.”

Operational since 2001, Natt comprises NATT Safety Services, which provides safety training in areas such as working at heights and confined space; Northern Academy of Transport Training, which provides training for transport and commercial drivers; and Natt Personnel Solutions, a recruitment and staffing firm.

The company has additional branches in Sault Ste. Marie, Timmins, Brockville, and Vaughan.
