A new Fairfield Inn & Suites has opened in North Bay.
The 92-room hotel, located just off Highway 17 in the city’s west end, will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by RJ Green Investments Inc. and managed by Toronto’s iHotels.
"In addition to its natural beauty, North Bay, the Gateway to the North, offers a vibrant and diverse community offering the perfect blend for the leisure and corporate traveller alike,” said Muhammad Ikram, president of RJ Green Investments Inc., in a June 28 news release.
“We are excited to contribute to the growth of this thriving community with the opening of the first Marriott hotel.”
Room features include ergonomic workstations, sofas in the suites, refrigerators, coffeemakers and microwaves, as well as safes.
The hotel boasts an indoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, valet laundry service, complimentary Wi-Fi, and fax and copy services, and complimentary hot breakfast is available.
Natural materials are used throughout the building, and a photographic history of the Fairfield brand is included in the lobby.
