BESTECH, a Sudbury mine engineering and consulting firm, is expanding with the acquisition of a local firm, Sivret Engineering.
In growing its workforce by nine, BESTECH said in a Feb, 6 news release that the acquisition is a “strategic move” in its vision of growth and expansion. Four senior parnters from Sivret are among the new staff that bring a “wealth of industry knowledge and expertise” in the mining and forest products field.
BESTECH said the move solidifies its position as a “premier provider of innovative engineering solutions.”

Established in 1995, BESTECH is multi-disciplinary engineering firm that works with many of the world’s largest mining companies. The company also provides consulting services in power, transmission and distribution, automation, structural and civil, hoist plant, project management and environmental services.
