The Mining Innovation Commercialization Accelerator (MICA) Network will host its third annual conference and innovation showcase in Toronto this fall.

Launched in 2021 with $40 million in federal funding, Sudbury-based MICA is a national, multidisciplinary group of stakeholders working to speed up the commercialization of new products that address mining's most persistent problems.

Over the last three years, the organization has leveraged more than $29 million in funding for 50 projects from across Canada.

Scheduled to take place Nov. 6-7 in Toronto at the Radisson Blu hotel, this year’s conference theme is ‘Shaping the Future in Mining’.

It’s designed to provide mining stakeholders an opportunity to connect with industry leaders and learn about new innovations in the sector.

A full schedule is expected to be announced at a later date, but registration is now open.
