Shareholders of Greenshield Resources Inc. are expected to huddle in Toronto Sept. 12 to grant approval for a new mining exploration project on the Swayze Greenstone Belt, 100 kilometres southwest of Timmins.
If they receive the green light, drilling contractors will begin work on their property by late October or early November.
The former Providence Resources Inc. property is believed to hold solid gold potential, with a possible yield of one-third of an ounce of gold per tonne.
Greenstone had six untested gold targets, five copper-nickel targets and several potentially diamond-bearing kimberlite targets.
