Havilah Holdings received $1 million to establish a Geraldton manufacturing plant that will make energy-efficient and recyclable insulated panels made from organic material. The panels are mould and heat resistant.

Also on the receiving end was First General Services in Longlac, which received $125,000 to start up a restoration services business for homes affected by wind, flood and fire damage.

The Municipality of Greenstone scored $100,000 to find ways to capitalize on new mineral development projects.

The Biinjitiwaabik Zaaging Anishinaabek First Nation, located on the shores of Lake Nipigon, received $40,000 to draft an economic development plan.
