Located in the Sudbury area, Champion Bear Resources Ltd.'s Iron Mask property has just begun to see the first stages of the company's newest drill program.
Work has already started on the first of three holes in a 1,200-metre program, which targets previously identify outcrop areas with anomalous copper mineralization where grab samples assayed 1,140 and 2,000 parts per million. The outcrop areas have associated geophysical anomalies.
Geological mapping and magnetic surveys are also due to be completed over a 16-kilometre extension of the southwestern area.
Champion Bear's land packages in the Sudbury and Dryden areas total more than 16,000 hectares.
