Sudbury's Cambrian College is taking education on the road with the introduction of its new trades training trailer, with $2 million in assistance from Vale Inco.
The mobile classroom will help deliver post-secondary, apprenticeship and customized training to Aboriginal and rural communities as well as industry and mine sites throughout the North.
The system is designed to assist individuals who would otherwise have challenges travelling to Sudbury classrooms and to act as a launching point for those considering the trades as a career.
