Harold Wilson has resigned as president of the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce.
“The chamber will miss Harold,” said board chairman Ed Schmidtke. “The organization has become a stronger organization during his tenure and has made great strides in adding members and increasing value for its members.”
He said Wilson has been instrumental in revitalizing the chamber in its renewed lobbying efforts.
“We have been fortunate to have had his enthusiasm, expertise and dedication.”
After three and half years, Wilson said it was a tough decision to make.
“After much consideration, I have decided that I need to move on to other opportunities that will benefit from my experience. As a past chair as well, my association with our chamber has been extensive, and I look forward to providing continued support for the chamber and its considerable activities.”
